When Tim Brown volunteered to help while Brian was traveling to the Moulin Blues Festival in the Netherlands and then again to the Blues Music Awards in Memphis, I'm not sure he knew what he was agreeing to. He spent countless hours doing chores, caring for over 2,000 chickens, crating and moving birds and tending a large group of pigs. The feed truck showed up and Tim jumped in and unloaded a ton and a half of feed and worked the silos so that we could stuff them full. Best of all - he kept on smiling! Thank you Tim - we are so grateful for all your hard work!
We have a lot of new laying hens this year gearing up for #RentTheChicken and we have LOTS of eggs available. They are in the two refrigerators in the barn. $6.00/doz and $3.00 for the pullet eggs (small eggs). We never seem to have enough eggs but right now we are plentiful. Come and get'um!
Our beloved coop builder had a shoulder injury and subsequent surgery and has been out of commission. This means we will be very limited on the number of coop rentals we will have this year. Almost 1/2 are already reserved! If you are interested, I urge you not to wait!

We have been hearing from so many of you about how great our turkeys were for Thanksgiving and boy does that mean a lot! One of our customers sent us a picture of her Thanksgiving table and was wondering if we had a wall where people might be posting or showing our turkeys in their finished state. Please send us your photos and we will start a wall of Thanks!
When you buy a gift card from us, or any local farm, you help to provide us with funds for all the money we have to front for the next season. The money will help us to buy seed, feed, chicks, supplies and more for the spring at a time where we don't have much income. It is a great way to keep your shopping dollars in NH and support the local community. We offer gift cards in any denomination. I'm sure the recipient would be very pleased knowing that their holiday gift is supporting local family farming!
After loading a couple hundred turkeys with the help of Steve Normanton and his trusty farmhand Russell, trucking to Maine to our USDA processor with two trucks and trailers, driving back to Maine through the snow storm, pick ups and deliveries the turkeys are now where they need to be and I can breath and start to enjoy our own Thanksgiving festivities. This turkey run really turned into our grand finale of the 2018 season and what a year it has been. Thank you to our customers for your patronage and support. Thank you to our volunteers - we would be up a creek without you! And thank you God for the privilege to farm and be stewards of the land. May you and all those you hold dear in your hearts have a blessed Thanksgiving celebration
